Join the Fun: Inside D4 Solutions Epic D4 Day Celebration
On April 20, 2023, D4 Solutions celebrated its annual D4 Day. This event was a day of appreciation for our employees and their dedication which has resulted in much success and growth for the company over the past year.
The day was filled with activities that brought employees together and created an exciting and engaging atmosphere. The festivities started off with a BBQ feast, followed by an original trivia game created by D4 Solution’s Senior Project Manager, Victoria, and ending with an employee raffle where lucky winners took home amazing prizes from Amazon gift cards to D4-logo waterproof speakers. The highlight of the day was the BBQ cookout which was “extremely inclusive” as Senior Project Manager, Kelly, exclaimed. The spread included gluten free, sugar free, and vegetarian options providing a chance for each and every employee to participate and connect with one another.
One of the main objectives of D4 Day was to create a harmonious environment of fellowship among employees. Production Kitter, Samuel, showed D4 Solutions that the company accomplished its main objective and then some with his statement, "The food was great, and it was a good opportunity to talk to other employees that I don’t often get to chat with. I especially had fun with the trivia game, and I think it would be great to have more activities like that at future events.” It is the belief of our Management and Executive Team that no one person or department is solely responsible for the company’s success rather, it is the efforts, drive, and passion of every single employee of D4 Solutions working and collaborating alongside one another that has allowed the company to achieve its goals.
The D4 Day celebration served as a reminder of the culture of encouragement and unity D4 Solutions strives to maintain. The event could not be summarized better than the vivid remarks of Senior Application Developer, David, “Spending time with coworkers chatting and jesting was a refreshing break from the customary workday. There was even music and a little dancing. George and Kevin cooked up Masterpiece Entrees with the Hamburgers and Hotdogs they provided, and there was no shortage of sweets in the form of Cookies and Cupcakes (my own dangerous indulgence). Although the weather outside was not particularly accommodating, fortunately our new building provided space enough for all to gather, mingle and socialize. It was a welcoming event that allowed us all to get a bit more acquainted with our fellow workmates."
Our Director of Operations, Kevin, informed the company that “there were positive reviews of this event by the night crew as well. Hoping this is the first of many D4 Days going forward." One does not have to hope, because this is only the begin of D4 Solutions journey to form an overall job culture of fellowship and teamwork. As the testimonials show, D4 Day was enjoyed and appreciated by all, and serves as a reminder of the importance of the company's employees.
