We are looking for a Part Time Experienced Digital Print Operator to operate and maintain all sheet fed, continuous feed, and ink jet printing equipment by using unique job specifications to produce documents for inserting or bindery finishing.

Must be available to work the first week of each month and available for over-time.

Physical Requirements

• Required to physically perform the basic functions of reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting and performing tasks involving repetitive motions.
• Occasionally required to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess visual abilities to perform visual quality checks.

Job Duties

• Ability to operate printing equipment independently with minimal training or supervision.
• Ability to assist and mentor other laser operators.
• Ability to use knowledge and experience to present solutions when machine challenges arise.
• Operate and maintain sheet-fed and continuous-feed printing equipment as assigned and according to standard operating procedures.
• Follow set run instructions and report any discrepancies to supervisory personnel.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and consumable replacements as instructed.
• Call in and follow up on service calls placed.
• Send files to printers as authorized.
• Complete and maintain logs associated with billing and service calls and other documentation as required.
• Complete banner sheets and continually monitor quality of output produced.
• Monitor paper stock usage, notify supervisory personnel of low inventory levels and assist with inventory movements and inventory count, as instructed.
• Maintain a clean work area, following supervisory direction on required cleaning tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education

Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

‍

Experience
Minimum 2-5 years field experience with cut sheet and continuous feed.

Requirement: toner based printers.

Knowledge & Skills

• Read and interpret instructions and numbers (in English) at a level necessary to perform essential functions.
• Possess basic computer terminal knowledge, keyboard skills.

Work Environment

• Production facility: Moderate noise level, climate controlled.
