Soaring High: D4 Solutions' National Paper Airplane Day Celebration Takes Flight

National Paper Airplane Day is a celebration that encapsulates the simple joy of childhood, bringing smiles, laughter, and a sense of wonder to people of all ages. This year, D4 Solutions took this opportunity to cultivate teamwork, creativity, and comradery among its employees. With the help of D4 Solution’s incredible Employee Engagement Committee, the company organized an unforgettable event to commemorate the unique national holiday.

D4 Solutions' National Paper Airplane Day celebration was a testament to the company's commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive work environment. The event brought employees of various departments together. From Project Managers to Inserting Operators, everyone had a chance to showcase their creativity and paper engineering skills. The competition sparked friendly rivalry, as Project Manager Victoria Kaczmarek stated, “All the employees came together to take a break from their usual routines and engage in some whole-hearted fun.”

Employees were able to unleash their imaginations as they designed original and aerodynamically sound paper planes. There was laughter and excitement as employees had friendly competitions between one another, and the warehouse was transformed into a makeshift runway. Flights were judged based on the plane that traveled the farthest. Laughter and cheers filled the air as paper planes gracefully soared through the office space. As a token of appreciation for their dedication and enthusiasm, the contest winner was awarded a D4 Solutions cooler bag. The contest winner on D4 Solution’s night shift, Alonzo Corbin Sr., was really excited to announce himself the winner, and exclaimed, “I want to let fellow D4 employees know that I am very pleased to be able to be a part of this company. There are so many entertaining events here! I really enjoyed every moment of the games and fun during the celebration.”

D4 Solutions' National Paper Airplane Day celebration was a resounding success, leaving employees more motivated and connected. This is evident by Quality Assurance Coordinator, Ben O’Brien’s, proclamation, “The D4 paper airplane event was an absolute blast! D4 did a fantastic job of creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel comfortable and excited to participate. It was great to see everybody’s creativity and competitive sides come out while we competed to see whose airplane could fly the farthest. My colleague Victoria K. is the real MVP for helping me create a paper airplane that soared sky high! Even if it crash-landed right into a pallet rack.
